Preliminary Final Cut- Nitisha, Shivani & Krishan
Preliminary Task- Nitisha, Shivani & Krishan
This is our preliminary task. In our group there is Nitisha, Shivani and Krishan. In this task we knew we had to include 3 main camera techniques. These were 180 Degree Rule, Match on Action and Shot-Reverse-Shot. In general our task was to show continuity by opening the door, crossing the room and sitting down, so both characters are sitting together. For our preliminary task we chose to have a sick guy going into classes to ask for medicine. In order to film this preliminary task we had to make a storyboard and script. The storyboard helped us identify how the scenes will look, what will be happening during each scene and the type of shots used and the script helped the the characters know what they needed to say and when they needed to do certain things such as leave the room etc.
During the editing stage we put all our scenes together to make our first rough cut. Then the editor (Nitisha) started to edit the work together and show the continuity, for example, through the use of match on action when the guy opens the door from outside and walks inside the room. This took a while to edit as it needed to be done correctly in order to allow the flow to continue.

*Krishan goes to sit down*
Shivani: Why are you here?
Krishan: Do you have any medicine?
Shivani: Do I look like a pharmacy to give you medicine?
Krishan: Yooooo, chill
*Krishan leans over and coughs*
Shivani: Eww, can you move away from me!
Krishan: Why?
Shivani: What do you mean why?
Krishan: I’m ill.
Shivani: What do you want me to do about that?
Krishan: Help me.
Shivani: Why should I?
Krishan: Why not? Oh my god
Shivani: You know what; I’ve had enough of this.
*Shivani walks out of the room*

Preliminary Synopsis- Krishan
Preliminary Synopsis- Krishan
Our preliminary task is simply about two people who have a
conversation on being ill. We have used different shots in our video, these
shots are: Match on action, Shot reverse shot and the 180 degree rule.
Character 1 walks into the class room, we do this by using the
match on action shot. We take a shot of character 1 walking in the corridor
passing the camera, then we take a shot of them opening the door after that,
character 1 coming into the room and walking towards the table where character
2 is sitting.
Character 1 sits down. The two characters start having a
conversation. Character 2 starts and then character 1 replies. When they say
one line each the camera is looking at both of them. After character 1 has
finished their first line, the shot reverse shot starts. First shot starts with
character 2 and the reverse shot is on character 1.
We then start with the 180 degree rule when the two characters are
having an argument, the camera is moving in a semi-circle around the two
characters. Our final shot is off character 2 getting angry and walking off. The
shot we use for this is match on action.

Production Logo- Nitisha
Production Name Ideas- Group
For our production name ideas we did these separately and put all our ideas together, after we got all the different production name ideas together we chose one production name and this was narrowed down to 'MoonLight Studio'. We then added 'Production' and 'Entertainment' and the end and decided which one sounded better and as a group we thought 'MoonLight Entertainment' sounded the best.
Production name and logo ideas- Nitisha
These are my 3 design ideas for production names/logos.
I thought of this idea because I had scanned through a few production names and they had the word entertainment at the end. I thought of 'Coloured Entertainment' as a production name because films, shows etc. will be made in colour and also because it makes the productions name memorable.
I
used this kind of font because it goes with the name. For example,
threads can be made into any type of pattern and doesn't have to be a
straight line, this is shown the the curves on the 'T' and 'S'.

I chose this name because I thought it fitted in well as a production name because people usually watch movies at night, which is when the moon is out. I added a moon next to the name because it goes with the production name.

This is our Production Logo for MoonLight Entertainment. We thought the moon linked in well with the name and we chose this colour as it was a colour that suited both genders not just one.
